Gourmet Pop Up is a boutique, bespoke business ran by husband and wife team Laura and Felan Hennigan and based in  rural Twycross in Leicestershire.  Felan has a wealth of experience as a chef, catering for all styles, volumes and levels.  His impressive CV features roles in small bespoke fine dining venues along with high volume, high quality Executive chef roles in the sports & leisure sector of contract catering.  Laura had a late call to the catering trade through a family business where her cool but savvy head for business was an asset.  She furthered these skills in event management and venue dressing and Laura's eye for style and attention to detail means nothing is left to chance in ensuring your event goes without a hitch.

Gourmet Pop Up grew out of our own frustrations with lacklustre food in our own are a as we moved further into the countryside. We found despite being surrounded by some of the nations best produce, there was little in the way of contemporary or stylish food being served.  So began 'gourmetpopup'.........

We are a catering company whose initial aim was to bring quality local produce to community spaces such as village halls, schools or any communal space at the heartbeat of the town or village life.  We aimed to provide the best quality food and service to areas without the need for expensive taxis, exorbitantly priced drinks or the need to appoint a designated driver!

From little acorns..... after a few key events in our own local community, the business has grown purely by word of mouth and a little help from social media. We have now diversified into providing all styles of catering from fine dining dinner parties to large scale marquee or venue based weddings whilst keeping our passionate core ethos of local produce, contemporary style of food and service and a fully bespoke approach.  We are proud of what we have grown to be and this shines through with any event we are entrusted to cater for. 

Our event bar, Bramble & Barley has the same approach as our catering, it has been designed as a blank canvas to fit your requirements for the day - gin bar, Prosecco bar, Champagne bar or cocktails, we can accommodate any requests as well as designing a bespoke drinks package to cater for your arrival drinks, table wine & water and toast drinks.  The possibilities are endless.
